Job Description
- Lead the development of a turn-based tactics game (a console game) based on a well-known cyberpunk IP for three primary console and PC platforms.
- Lead the team to set and achieve project objectives at different stages of the development lifecycle within budget.
- Get deeply involved in the creation of game prototypes, and the communication with foreign IP owners and publishers.
- Communicate, support and coordinate across various development lines on a daily basis.
- Stay on top of all artistic and technical standards of the game, and ensure quality targets are being met for all deliverables.
- Identify, analyze and resolve various issues and risks in development.
- Maintain communication with internal teams as well as domestic and international external partners to ensure timely delivery of game versions and market materials.
Job Requirements
- Prior experience bringing at least one game to market as a producer or product manager.
- Dedicated gamer of turn-based tactics games or strategy games, with extensive experience playing console and PC games.
- Strong ability to negotiate and coordinate across departments and teams.
- Ability to grasp key points, follow sound advice, make decisive decisions and promote steady progress.
- Excellent learner in terms of experience and new knowledge/expertise/products.
- Good knowledge of fiction and cyberpunk literature/film/animation/games.
- Master of the general use of Unity.
- Excellent reading and written skills in English (or Japanese).
Preferred Qualifications
- Oral fluency in English (or Japanese).
- Experience in developing console strategy games.
- Experience in the development of international projects.
